Movie: Atlas Dei (2007)
Music: Robert Rich. Gentle ambient electronica.
Graphic design: Daniel Colvin. Surrealism. I would categorize it as idealistic due to scenes containing "unweathered" statues in the middle of an isolated desert, and a single tree on top of a large hill/small mountain.
My summary:
Bad news: there are elements of spirituality, so proceed with caution.
Good news: the movie allowed me to just think, and I think it would do the same for you. I relaxed and entertained various thoughts. There was a segment that included a female nude and a male nude within a few minutes of each other. The statues were ancient and looked Greek. This got me to thinking about ancient Greek society. Before the battle against the Sacred Band of Thebes the male nude was promoted. Shortly after the battle the female nude was promoted*. I was pondering what effect this had on the female role in society. For some time, the females in Greece farmed. With female beauty being promoted perhaps general opinion began favoring easier roles for females to preserve their beauty. Who knows?
Look into this product!
*I watched this recently, probably on PBS. If not PBS, then the History Channel most likely.

Re: Computer Graphic Surrealism Coupled With Ambient Electronica
Mon, June 30, 2008 - 1:10 PMHopefully we will not practice religion and spirituality some day. I do think a great replacement for the two would be projects like the light orb in Star Wars (III I think). A stadium where the community go to and be mesmerized by a light orb display, perhaps some ambient music, in addition to a few smaller projects near the stadium (such as a uniquely designed park, one with surreal influence as opposed to natural growth).
